Abstract:

This workshop introduces a foundational course designed to equip future healthcare professionals with essential Attitude, Ethics, Communication (AETCOM) skills alongside strategies for cognitive wellness. Recognizing the crucial interplay between professional conduct, effective communication, ethical decisionmaking, and personal well-being, this course aims to foster empathetic, responsible, and resilient practitioners. Interactive sessions will explore key AETCOM competencies, including empathy development, ethical principles in healthcare, patient-centered communication techniques, and interprofessional collaboration. Furthermore, the workshop will delve into practical approaches for enhancing cognitive functions, managing stress, and promoting mental well-being, acknowledging their direct impact on professional performance and patient care. By integrating AETCOM principles with cognitive wellness strategies, this foundational course seeks to cultivate well-rounded individuals prepared to navigate the complexities of modern healthcare with compassion, integrity, and optimal cognitive capacity.
